The village will consist of 120 houses – each house will have an additional space for either an office, a studio/shop, or other business-related functions, which will enable every owner to establish and

develop a business alongside his home. All structures will be built in the most innovative construction methods, using environmentally friendly, energy saving buildings – offering green roofs, solar power and rainwater harvesting. 500+ families have already shown their interest in the real estate.

In the heart of the settlement will be a designated multi-purpose artistic hybrid learning lab, as well as a business eco-center where professional creators from the community can offer their advice to other members. This will result in a business eco-center wholly dedicated to regenerative green-tech startups. The source of the BIZ’ CENTER will deal with THE FUTURE OF FOOD: a regenerative symbiosis of nature with technology. In addition, the HOLISTIC MEDICAL CENTER area will be a lab that combines local traditional medical knowledge with future medicine.

Huella Verde will offer the basic facilities of any other town: all kinds of services such as an eco- restaurant, pharmacy, a small ecological shopping area, an artistic gallery, a theatre, an ecological swimming pool and a kindergarten and school among others.

Huella Verde will provide more than 120 eco-business opportunities as well as a source of income to its community which will enrich and develop not only Huella Verde but also its surroundings. Our vision promises a long and prominent continuity to the generations to come. This is the first European model that will create a unique ecosystem, building a network of lighthouse projects on the advantage of each country or island – for example Portugal: local energy, water and food from the ocean.

The Huella Verde Mallorca project was founded and developed by Sigal Weiss, an executive producer, eco and social activist, and avid nature lover. Sigal conceived the project after establishing two other successful creative communities – specializing in real-estate social entrepreneurship and management. Sigal lives on the island and her passion for this project knows no bounds.
